” Great until you need them. I was given a toll free number to call the claims department. I provided all the information and informed that the damage would be assesed within 5 days. I after 2 weeks with no response, I began repeatedly trying to call the claims agent I had been assigned. She never returned her calls and was always out of the office. The shop they recommeded gave me a lower estimate than Allstate did. They called me to pick up my car but it wasn’t done and they had overlooked some damage under the hood which caused mechanical failure. Allstate refused to pay for the damage and my medical bills went into collections. I am shopping for a new insurance company.” Paul A.
