Farm Bureau Insurance began almost 90 years ago in hopes of helping farmers make more profit and also begin a way to politically lobby effectively both nationally and locally.

Each state has their own Farm Bureaus and located in every county. Each state’s Farm Bureau is licensed only in that state meaning North Carolina cannot write a policy for someone living in Tennessee. If one state writes a policy and the person moves to another state, they must switch to that state’s Farm Bureau (or another company that is licensed in all states).

While out riding one sunny afternoon, my husband and I were hit by a customer of American family, It took almost a year to get anything out of them, even though on the police report it stated that the driver that hit us was at fault, customer service is horrible as they kept our lawyer at bay telling them that they were still looking at the accident scene and all of the medical papers, Not until after our lawyer threatened to take them to court did they pay up.
