Progressive Mutual Insurance was founded in 1937 by Joseph Lewis and Jack Green. The two were looking for a good investment and decided that insurance would be an excellent choice. During the 1950’s and 60’s Progessive continued to grow and expand during this time. Over the years we have continuously worked to improve and keep our customers satisfied. Progressive is a diverse place to work. We provide an outstanding work place for our employees. Progessive insures people across the United States. We offer competitve rates to our customers. Customers are able to purchase insurance online, by phone, or in person from Progressive agents. We insure autos, boats, rvs. snowmobiles, and motorcycles. We even have commercial auto insurance. Our Chief Executive Officer and President is Glen M. Renwick since 2001. Our main office is located in Mayfield Village, Ohio. Progressive employs over 28,000 people in 450 plus offices all over the United States. The largest Progressive branches house beautiful contemporary art.
